If you can make it outside this lunchtime,
do so
.
To call it a lovely day is a gross understatement.

Mind, I think it depends on where your outside is. Mine is in Manchester. On the "not currently raining" front we're doing well. On the "lovely" front, well, it's not currently raining but gloves were necessary this morning!

I did. It's gorgeous. I'm also very glad that I'm working down by Blackfriars because the scope for getting out at lunchtime is quite wide.

It is lovely.
I think I'll be spending much of today sitting in the garden with a book and a cold beer.
I suspect I'll be regretting that later and looking for lotion for the sunburn.

... but remember the sun block if you're going to spend the whole hour sitting in the sun and you're pale like I am.

Pff! At the height of hay fever and photophobia?
Looks pretty enough from inside, though. I'll grant you that.

Just been out to a country pub for lunch with the CEO, and drve back over the back roads rather than along the dual carriageway.
Thank goodness we don't have the city fumes, but in this heat, I think the daffs are doomed.

*gulp*
*sniffle*
*tiny tear*
You're just being *mean* now.
Mind you the torrential rain has stopped, and it's only very windy now. And a whopping 4°.
Screw global warming, I want local warming.

Today was mostly overcast but still warm enough to sit out during lunch. Yesterday, however, was glorious.
Cue bare legs to try to catch a bit of sun before they get exposed to Chinese sunshine.

Ah yes, I have accumulated freckles from head to toe after spending some of the afternoon swimming in an outdoor pool :o) More of the same tomorrow, I think.
