I get dreams a lot like that about Sasha. She doesn't talk to me, though, she just plays happily in the garden for a while. She seems to get on alright with Ella, which is nice. And I (dream)think something like "She was gone for a while, but now she's back for a visit". I don't think these dreams particularly make me sad - rather, they make me feel happy we had her, and happy that we've got Ella now, too.
Your Dinah looks like a lovely cat :-) It sounds like you gave her a great life. I'm not surprised you're still dreaming about her. I hope the dreams will come to make you happy, rather than sad.
